🌱 Are you a developer wanting to apply your skills in a way that has a positive impact? 🌍

Unsustainable farming practices are degrading soils and waterways worldwide. That’s bad news for rivers, wildlife, climate and food security. If you’re our ideal candidate, you’ll care about these big challenges of our time, and will want to use to your technical talents to make a difference.

At Soil Benchmark, we’re building cutting-edge geospatial software that helps restore the health of the UK's soils and waterways by completing tasks that directly inform land management. Since launching our platform less than two years ago, we've signed up more than 11% of England's farmland and we're only just getting started 🚀. We now need more brilliant people like you to support this growth!

Join us to help shape a future where land management supports profitable farms, delivering nutritious food, clean rivers, thriving wildlife, healthy soils and carbon removal.

OK nice idea, but why should I want to work at a start-up, isn’t it super risky?

We’re already past the riskiest bit: Soil Benchmark has thousands of farms using our platform, revenues that keep growing, and the backing from a successful raise last year that’s allowed us to build a strong team. 💪

That puts us in an exciting sweet spot — small enough that you’ll have real influence, but established enough that your work will reach users and have instant impact on the ground.
